Presentations play an essential role in weddings, be it in the digital format or live music on stage.
We’ve been to many weddings where a powerpoint/slideshow presentation has been played in the beginning of the service, just before the bridal march. Some played during, some after. Some have a song presentation by close friends or cell members during the signing of the marriage certificate, which 3 out of 3 times (that I’ve seen it) keep the couple, the parents and the pastor waiting on stage until the song ends.
Awkward moment!
We decided that we wouldn’t have a song presentation, but have not really discussed what we plan to do at that moment.
Until yesterday, when Raymond came over to rehearse the songs for Moses and Yvonne’s wedding this Sat .. when the idea of having another digital presentation during the signing ceremony.
Many have not seen the video of the proposal of which I recorded with my trusty Canon S5-IS, and it was in my intention to display it during the wedding to share with the world what happened (of course, minus the PG-8 bits .. ).
I think it’ll be great! Now .. to do some video editing ..
Anyone willing to donate an unused tripod for me to shoot our own pictures?

Ah. Here are the invites for next year, if you took the package from G Hotel to host your dinner for you. I think it’s quite nice! Quite classy.
We’ve booked the hotel ballroom for July next year, so that’ll be a time to look forward to! Wheee!
What do you think of them?
Wedding plans prop up once in a while .. when I am not thinking about other things. Things like how bleak my new job prospect looks now, like how unsafe it is for me to continue staying at my current place, and how much it costs to purchase a place of our own, and the complications that might entail if the decision isn’t made properly, leading to lifelong consequences.
A quick scan through my brain tells me that I’ve got too many things to look into. Too many things to consider.
What about wedding preparations then?
I suggested the idea of having someone help us with our wedding to Liz, so that’ll be lined up for discussion. Someone that will be able to see big picture, and help us gain perspective.
